Here’s another quick video editing tip that will save you a lot of headache and time if you don’t know about it. For a while, I was having trouble centering titles. I was trying to line it up based on the title safe markers around the edge of the title creator. But I completely missed the ‘Center’ option in the bottom left of this window.

Check out how easy it is to center titles:

In the image above you see that I’ve created my text. But it is in the upper left quadrant of the box. What do I do to get perfectly centered titles?

On the left panel near the middle-bottom you’ll notice the CENTER option. By clicking each of these buttons once (horizontal center and vertical center), our title will move to the exact center. Piece of cake!

You can even center multiple titles/shapes/etc. Just create multiple layers and select both, then click the center buttons. You can also use the align buttons in the panel above the center panel to adjust how the layers are centered/aligned.
