Want to beautify your video with one easy effect?
The vignette can do just that. Vignettes are the dark edges around your video and photographs. This can be due to a certain type of lens, film, or applied as a digital effect in post production. At Video School Online, we like to add vignettes to some of our videos to create a more dramatic look. It also focuses the attention of the viewer to the center of a video clip.
Adding vignettes to interviews is a great way to focus the viewers attention on the subject of your interviewee. Vignettes can also make dull backgrounds pop!
For the Video School Online YouTube Channel, I created a series of videos on how to create vignettes in After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro. Check out the following video tutorials and learn to make some beautiful vignettes.
